University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is delighted to invite all Australian Science Communicators National Conference 2012 (ASC2012) delegates to attend a cocktail reception.

You can share ideas and thoughts after the first full day of the conference program and also hear from Professor Ross Milbourne , Vice-Chancellor of UTS, about the development of the Ultimo Precinct. This cultural and educational precinct in the heart of Sydney brings together UTS, the Powerhouse Museum, the ABC, TAFE NSW and other partners in a number of projects, including initiatives like the Ultimo Science Festival to help promote science and technology to the general public.
